How does When I Work's seat pricing compare to Hourvy's?
When I Work sells seats in blocks of 5, so a 12-person team is billed for 15 seats, and time & attendance is a paid add-on on top of scheduling. Hourvy has no blocks: 12 workers plus you is 13 seats, so $13 a month, with time tracking and scheduling both included.
Is scheduling included in Hourvy?
Yes. The week-by-week schedule, open shifts, shift swaps and availability are included in the seat price. Scheduling is an optional feature: switch it on in Settings when you want it.
How long is the free trial?
Hourvy's free trial is 30 days, with no credit card, and you're never charged automatically when it ends. When I Work offers a 14-day free trial and no free plan.
Can my team clock in from a shared tablet?
Yes. Switch on the kiosk and any tablet becomes a shared time clock: each worker taps their name and enters a 4 to 6 digit PIN. Workers can still use their own phones too, unless you turn on Kiosk only.
Is there really no monthly base fee or minimum charge?
Zero base fees, zero minimums. You pay only for active seats: each worker, each manager and you, the owner. A team of 4 workers plus you is 5 seats, so $5 a month. No setup, admin or cancellation fees.
What counts as a seat for billing?
A seat is every active person on your account: each active worker, each manager and the owner. You're billed for the most seats you had during the month, so someone active for 1 day or all 30 costs the same flat seat price for that month. It's based on their active status, not how many shifts they logged.
What happens when my 30-day free trial ends?
Because we don't ask for a credit card to start your trial, you'll never be charged automatically. Near the end of your 30 days we'll remind you to add a payment method if you want to keep using Hourvy. If you decide it's not for you, your account simply pauses. No cancellation calls needed.
