Hourvy vs Clockify: scheduling & labor cost included, no top-tier jump
Clockify's free plan is generous for pure time tracking, but scheduling, GPS tracking and labor cost tracking are locked behind its Pro tier. Hourvy includes shift scheduling for every team, at $1 per active seat.
- Scheduling & labor cost tracking included, not gated behind a top tier
- No jump from a 5-user free cap straight to a per-user paid plan
- Inactive staff cost nothing: you pay only for active seats

Hourvy vs Clockify: questions
Clockify has a free plan. Why pay for Hourvy?
Clockify's free plan covers time tracking for up to 5 users, but scheduling, GPS tracking and labor cost tracking need its Pro tier at $9.99 per user per month. Hourvy includes scheduling, a GPS location check, automatic overtime, tip pooling, job costing and payroll exports for $1 per active seat.
Is Hourvy for shift work or project time tracking?
Hourvy is built for hourly, shift-based teams: clocking in and out, breaks, schedules, overtime and gross pay. With job costing switched on, workers pick a job when they clock in and you see hours and labor cost per job. Hourvy doesn't create client invoices.
Does Hourvy track workers' location all day?
No. The optional location check reads the phone's location only at clock-in and clock-out, compares it with your work locations, and never tracks workers in between.
What would 15 workers cost?
15 workers plus you is 16 seats, so $16 a month on Hourvy, with every feature included. Clockify Pro for 15 users is $149.85 a month.
Is there really no monthly base fee or minimum charge?
Zero base fees, zero minimums. You pay only for active seats: each worker, each manager and you, the owner. A team of 4 workers plus you is 5 seats, so $5 a month. No setup, admin or cancellation fees.
What counts as a seat for billing?
A seat is every active person on your account: each active worker, each manager and the owner. You're billed for the most seats you had during the month, so someone active for 1 day or all 30 costs the same flat seat price for that month. It's based on their active status, not how many shifts they logged.
What happens when my 30-day free trial ends?
Because we don't ask for a credit card to start your trial, you'll never be charged automatically. Near the end of your 30 days we'll remind you to add a payment method if you want to keep using Hourvy. If you decide it's not for you, your account simply pauses. No cancellation calls needed.
