Can crews clock in from the truck or the yard?
Yes. Crew members clock in from their own phone wherever the job is, using the phone's web browser. There's no app to download and no time clock to install.
Can I check crews are at the property when they clock in?
Yes. Switch on the location check and save each property as a work location with a radius. Clock-ins away from every saved site are either flagged with the distance or blocked, as you choose. Hourvy reads the location only at clock-in and clock-out and never tracks crews in between.
How do I track hours per property or contract?
Switch on job costing and create a job for each property or contract, with optional budget hours. Crews pick the job at clock-in, and the Jobs page shows hours and labor cost for each one, with a budget bar that turns amber past 80% and red when over.
What if the crew moves to another property mid-shift?
They pick the next job and tap Switch while clocked in. Their time on the first job is saved and the clock keeps running on the new one.
Does Hourvy handle overtime in the busy season?
Yes. Set your daily and weekly overtime thresholds and multiplier, and Hourvy applies them to every shift automatically. The dashboard's Overtime watch shows who is close to overtime this week.
Do I pay for crew members during the off-season?
Not if you set them to Inactive before the billing month starts. Inactive people aren't seats, and you can reactivate them with their history intact in spring.
Is there really no monthly base fee or minimum charge?
Zero base fees, zero minimums. You pay only for active seats: each worker, each manager and you, the owner. A team of 4 workers plus you is 5 seats, so $5 a month. No setup, admin or cancellation fees.
What counts as a seat for billing?
A seat is every active person on your account: each active worker, each manager and the owner. You're billed for the most seats you had during the month, so someone active for 1 day or all 30 costs the same flat seat price for that month. It's based on their active status, not how many shifts they logged.
What happens when my 30-day free trial ends?
Because we don't ask for a credit card to start your trial, you'll never be charged automatically. Near the end of your 30 days we'll remind you to add a payment method if you want to keep using Hourvy. If you decide it's not for you, your account simply pauses. No cancellation calls needed.
