Time off & fix requests in Hourvy, in short
Hourvy lets workers request time off, a correction to a time log (such as a forgotten clock-out) or a shift that was never recorded, directly from their phone. Owners see each request with the recorded times, the requested times and the reason, and approve or decline it with an optional note. Approving a fix updates the time log automatically. Approved time off appears on the schedule and isn't counted as a missed shift.

Up and running in three steps
- Tick the request types you want in Settings → Optional features.
- Workers send a request from their app, with the dates or times and a reason.
- Open Requests and click Approve or Decline, with a note if you like.
Optional features are off until you switch them on, and are included in the price either way.
Good to know
- Requests for shifts in an approved pay period can't be approved, because those shifts are locked.
- Time off doesn't change pay. Hourvy records it so attendance and missed-shift tracking stay fair.

Does Hourvy track paid time off (PTO) balances?
No. Hourvy records approved time off on the schedule and in attendance, but it doesn't track PTO accrual balances or add time-off pay to payroll.
Can workers edit their own hours?
Workers can't change a time log themselves. They send a fix request with the right times and a reason, and the change is made only when you approve it.
Will I be notified about new requests?
Yes. The Requests menu shows a count of requests waiting, and you can switch on an email alert when a worker sends one.
